Hello and welcome to a quick tutorial on how to set up your own DPS mileage calculator form. This is something I've been frustrated with for a long time, and I decided to solve the problem so that I could have a spreadsheet that calculates all of my mileage and puts it into a format that I can submit without worries. So, I created this short link, bi te ly / DPS mileage, which will take you to a view-only spreadsheet that you can use. To begin, follow the ten-step process outlined in the spreadsheet. I will show you all of the steps, and they are also linked within the spreadsheet itself. First, make a copy of the spreadsheet and name it something of your choice, such as "My Awesome Mileage Calculator." Once you've made a copy, it will open up the new spreadsheet. Next, proceed to step two, which involves running the initial configuration for both Form Ranger and Formule. Run the configuration for both, and if it asks for authorization, accept it. Sometimes you may need to run it multiple times for it to work properly, but as long as the menu options appear, it's not a big issue. Once you have set up both menus, move on to step three, where you will assign the form items to the correct columns. In Form Ranger, populate the question of "Where did you travel from?" and "Where did you travel to?" from the relevant columns in your spreadsheet. Additionally, do the same for the question "What is the purpose of your trip?" using a different set of columns. Save the settings and proceed to step four, which involves setting triggers for the form refresh.
