As of right now, the acting defense secretary, Patrick Shanahan, is approving an extension following a request from DHS stating that they need more troops on the border or they need them down there for a longer period of time. Currently, there are two thousand three hundred and fifty troops assigned to this border mission. The deployment was expected to end on January 31st, but now we have word that there is a brand-new Caravan leaving Honduras heading for our southern border. Some are saying that they are targeting the Texas area, but we are not exactly sure where they are going to end up. This group has been warned by the government of Honduras not to go, as it is a dangerous trek and hasn't been good for those who went ahead so far. People are getting kidnapped and killed, but it doesn't seem to deter some of these individuals who are leaving in droves and heading for our border once again. The mission of our troops at the border will now be extended until at least September 30th, instead of the end of January. Throughout the whole summer, we can expect to have troops down here at the border, putting up wires and doing whatever else they are ordered to do. This is the latest update on the situation, and I will leave a link for you to join us for Underground World News live on Friday night at 8:00 p.m. Eastern. Hope to see you guys there.
