Okay, I recently purchased the Ophidian start player starter pack as a special promotion for April Fool's weekend. Hacking Games was offering a huge priority mail full of Ophidian products to create two decks with extra packs and cards. I'm going to open it and show you what's inside. The priority mail is already open because it was sticky. Inside, it is crammed full of stuff. I don't think you can legally fit anything else in here. Some of these are older cards from way back in the day. They have the old Slayer logo from Fleer, a company that went out of business a long time ago. These older cards are mixed with some newer ones. One of the newer cards is a thresher blade from their Kickstarter campaign, which was fully funded in 24 hours. You can still participate in the campaign by visiting hackandslashgames.com/kick within the next 24-48 hours before it ends on April 8, 2016. The package contains 25 packs, which is probably half a booster. Additionally, there are two decks: the Side Mystic deck and the Cybernetics and War deck. The Side Mystic deck has 60 cards, which is enough to start playing right away. The packs provide extra cards to play with. The Cybernetics and War deck features a fierce-looking cyber on the front. Inside, there is a personal note from the owner of Hack and Slash Games, as well as a cool sheet showcasing new artwork. Fleer originally intended for these cards to be on par with Magic, but the company went out of business and ruined the game for everyone.
