Good morning everyone, this is the Med City CPA. I'm doing another video on my two-minute tax topic series. Today, we're gonna talk about form 1040, the new form for 2018. If anybody likes this new series, please let me know. If not, that's fine too. Okay, so here we are, 10:44, in 2018. It's pretty simple. If you could imagine printing this form out, it's two pages long. Half page, but if you imagine printing it out, cutting off half a page and stapling it together or gluing it together, you would have approximately the size of a postcard. Whether or not this will be the continuing method or size of future forms, I have no idea, but it's kind of interesting to see. The new tax form is quite limited, so a lot of people are gonna ask, "Well, where's the rest of the form?" Well, this is it. This is what we got to work with. There might be some questions about, "Where's the 1040ez? Where's the 1048?" One of those no longer exists for 2018. Everyone will be using these forms. We will not be using the 1040. As you can see right here, it's just really simple. Put your name in here, your family's name, any dependents, things like that. You want to contribute, and then on page 2, boom, hidden. Your most of your income, if you have any expenses, if you have any taxes, etc. Do you have a refund coming to you? Do you have an amount owed? And that's pretty much it. It's pretty simple for most people. There are...
