These are the kind of things that typical married couples would have to show that you have intertwined your life. This is legit, remember they're looking for fraud. I mean, they're looking for other things, but one of the big things they are looking for is this a marriage of convenience to get an alien to the United States or is this a legitimate relationship? So if you're newlyweds, you typically don't have those things. You go to Vietnam and you marry your fiancee and now you're married and you want to file. Well, you probably don't have a joint checking account, joint life insurance, joint will, or apartment lease or whatever. And so you're left with getting these sworn affidavits or notarized affidavits from people who will attest to the relationship. Now, those aren't official documents. Those aren't on an official list of things that the government says that are always acceptable or anything like that.
