TurboTax has created a handy tax refund calculator that will allow you to know how much money you can expect to receive back before you file your tax return. Even if you do not use TurboTax to file your tax return, you can still use the tax calculator online for free. One of the coolest parts of using the calculator is that there's a little meter located on the right that calculates your total as you add in the information. This way, you know how it's affecting your refund or any tax amount due. Once all the information has been entered, the calculator will give you a total of how much of a refund you can expect or how much you can expect to pay in taxes for the year. Here's some additional information: when to expect your tax refund. The IRS has a refund schedule, too. Just go to irs.gov or check our website pages for the dates when the refunds will be given out based on when you submit your return. If you have opted for direct deposit, your refund will be deposited in your bank account, which is much quicker than requesting a check to come through the mail.
