In this video, we will discuss the topic of an amended tax return. Basically, we will learn how to do it in the tax program. The software works by pulling the data forward into the original column on the form 1040x when a return is in accepted status. On the federal 1040x, there are three columns - the original amount or previously adjusted, the net change, and the correct amount.
